My new roomates dog chewed up 3 pair in one night and here I am buying 2 more! Awesome glasses, the best I have ever owned.

These are really comfortable sunglasses. When it says they fit a medium to large head, it's right. I'd say I have a medium sized head and they're great. The nosepiece is slip free as it advertises. The rootbeer/fade brown color is really sharp looking! My only complaint is that on the rootbeer/fade brown colored frames, there are spots right below the eye where the frame is translucent and there is quite a glare into your eye. The lenses are nice and there's not much glare from them, but the glare definately gets you from the frame below your eye when facing the sun or you're on top of snow that's glaring. great!

I read some of the reviews that said these worked well for people with large noggins. I have to disagree, I have a large head, 7 3/4 hat size and these did not fit me well at all. They pinched on the temples and barely hooked over my ears. The glasses had a good look and were solidly built, thus the good rating, but they are not large. The Smith website says they are medium/large. I would say that description is more accurate. If you are looking for a large glasses in this shape and look check out the Smith Shelter or Undertow.

i had bought a pair of the Hudsons a few years back in Tahoe and had them for years and years! from the minute i put them on i didn't want to take them off. i actually slept in them the first night. t.m.a.l.s. dog chewed them up, and had such a hard time finding them again.....untill i discovered this site... i couldn't be more satisfied with their selection and service. Thanks again

I've had lots of sunglasses and these are the best ones. They are very light, nicely wrapped around and they look cool. They seem to be pretty beefy, so I don’t think I'll break them but the lenses seem to be kind of easy to scratch.

These things will take the most heinous of all people, and instantly turn them into rock stars. Some of the illest styling in smith sunglasses. Fit comfortably, survived falling out of my car at 75 miles an hour. Built Ford Tough.

I've owned these glasses for 2 years now and worn them skiing, climbing, hiking but primarily for driving and hanging out looking good. They are built to last. Other glasses that I've had and put through all the activities I've mentioned haven't held up nearly as well as the Hudson. Probably not for the narrow head folks, these shades are wide in size and the wide side arms would drown a smaller face/head. I love ‘em though cause I've got a big melon.

Absolutely the best shades ever. I wear em on the river, on the rock, hiking, mountaineering, biking, driving...eating. I have for years searched high low and semi-in-the-middle which means the midwest where nobody has cool shades. I am now there king.

I bought a pair of these about 1.5 years ago in Australia. They fit perfectly, so when I was up for some new glasses (scratched lenses), I decided to buy the same glasses. Smith doesn't make replacement lenses for this model, so I just decided to buy a new pair. I was disappointed to find that the new pair did not fit properly - they were narrower than my old pair. I contacted Smith and they claimed the model hasn't changed, and to send them in for evaluation. It was too much trouble as I’m in Kuwait so I just wore them. Now, because they rub on my temples, the coating is starting to rub off. I'm disappointed as my old pair was excellent.

These Sunglasses are great. Mine are the "Smoke/Fade" and I love them. They look great, and they feel good wearing them. Would not hesitate to give two thumbs up.

Hey, these are great. I love em. I have the Black Gold ones. They have a mirror lens on them that I love for sunny days. Great coverage to keep my eyes out of direct sunlight. And they look rad too. If you have a medium to larger face size these are a great investment. If you like these, you might like the Folsom too. I have both.

Only one word “awesome,” I've worn a lot of sunglasses and have had varied results especially in the harsh Australian sun but these cut the glare well, look Cool and are Comfortable and the Babes agree. I have received headaches from other brands that push in behind the ears too much but these feel great and don’t slip of my nose when Running. Give ‘em a go.
